The Gift Edit: What I Got My Sister-in-Law for her Birthday

My sister-in-law and I both happen to have January birthdays and I always have so much fun shopping the post-holiday sales with her in mind; today, I’m sharing what I got her for her birthday!

Anthropologie Felt Hat

Anthropologie’s sale section can be pretty hit or miss, but when I spotted this hat – I just knew my sister-in-law would love it. I’m not sure if she’ll wear it or use it as wall decor, but I’m so impressed with the quality and got it for under $30. While they don’t seem to have any left of this style, there are lots of other cute felt hats in their sale section.

Madewell The Julien Lace-Up Lugsole Boot in Leather

Madewell is having a huge secret stock sale right now and I can’t believe I was able to get these Julien boots for $100. I had to keep checking the site to get the right size, but it does seem like they’re occasionally re-stocking!

Inkifi Classic Frame

If you’ve been around for a while, you might remember that I gifted Darren one of these for our 6 year anniversary. I think these frames make such a nice gift and I customized my sister-in-law’s to include pictures of her and Percy.

Boy Smells Moody Woods Votive Candle Set

I’ve been lucky enough to have been gifted a few Boy Smells candles and the smells are so complex, I also love their packaging and that there’s one called redhead – my sister-in-law happens to have red hair!

Charly Cox’s she must be mad

My sister-in-law recently told my mom she likes poetry and I love this modern spin on it. If you don’t follow Charly Cox on Instagram, Google her poem Kale Leaves – it’s a favorite of mine.

Maisie Peters You Signed Up For This Vinyl

I gifted my sister-in-law a record player for Christmas, so I think it’s only fair that I gift some vinyl each holiday from here on out.
