Hi all! I’m here today to write a quick review for an eyeshadow palette and a matte lip that I have been absolutely loving! This is the Brunch Date Pressed Powder Shadow Palette and @ ME Ultra Matte Lip from the Zoella x Colourpop Brunch Date Collection, I thought brunch was my favorite thing ever, but it turns out the brunch date collection actually is. Zoe Sugg thought of everything, from adorable 70’s inspried packaging to names like Sunny Side Up and French Toast, this is a breakfast inspired treat you won’t want to miss! Did someone say mimosas?

The matte lip is the absolute perfect mauve color, not only that, but it was my first matte lip from Colourpop and the formula is seriously what dreams are made of; I can kiss Darren with it on and it doesn’t go anywhere; full disclousre? I could also probably eat stacks upon stacks of pancakes with it on too. I just placed my order for the more nude, pink color in the range – called Little One. 

I used to do my eyemakeup everyday, but had recently gotten a bit lazy and felt uninspired; however, upon using this palette I find myself reaching for it everyday. On a simple makeup day, I’ll take a bit of champagne toast and rub it all over my lid, putting extra in my inner corner to make me look more awake (that’s what I’ve done in the picture below)…

On a more made up day, I’ll take Americano and smudge it on my outer corner, putting Pancakes Please all over my lid, and again touching the inner corner with Champagne Toast (that’s what I’ve done in the picture below)…

I’ve even experimented with blue all over the lid, which I never thought I’d like, but I actually did (sorry didn’t take a selfie that day)! I’ve also been trying to spring things up with Mimosa on the outer corner, Sunny Side Up all over the lid, and again Champagne Toast on the inner corner. The best part about this palette? The shades go on perfectly whether with a brush or smudged on the lid with your finger, so let’s have a champagne toast and cheers to something gorgeous and easy to use too!
