Hi all! Just a quick post today to kick-off gift giving season – I recently sent a thank you gift to someone and decided on a Thanksgiving theme. I love the way this turned out and thought I’d share just in case you’re looking for a great gift to show a Thanksgiving host you’re grateful, or are in need of inspiration for a thank you gift too!

Darren and I were recently lucky enough to win a giveaway hosted by @alexhealyphoto and it was such a gift that we thought we should return the favor to say thank you. Alex is a Hudson Valley based photog, so I wanted to shop small and nod to the Hudson Valley. Alex has the cutest pups, so I started with these personalized dog treats – I used these to set the Thanksgiving theme and had them stamped to say “THANKFUL FOR DOGS.” These grain free peanut butter treats smell good enough to eat and they’re SO cute!

Next, I added my personal favorite chocolate truffles. These are from Lake Champlain Chocolates and we went with their fall box, which includes a French roast, hazelnut, legendary dark, raspberry, and spiced pumpkin. These truffles are so rich and make the perfect gift!

For the Hudson Valley touch I decided to shop one of my favorite local businesses – Harney & Sons Teas. I did two of their tagalongs, one in Holiday and one in Hot Cinnamon Sunset. These really tied together the box’s color scheme and are such a nice touch at SUCH a reasonable price point ($4 each)!

The last touches to the box were from a really cute local shop called Clove & Creek. First, we grabbed an Apple Cider candle, from Brooklyn Candle Studio. We also picked up this card, which maps out the Hudson Valley – which was so perfect for our new favorite Hudson Valley photographer!
