Mini Fall Sephora Haul

I wish I had the slightest bit of self-control, but sadly when I see that 20% off Sephora coupon in my mailbox, IRL and digitally, I just cannot resist. I look at new arrivals, I take inventory of what I should stock up on, and I look at another eyeshadow palette that I, inevitably, don’t need. Fine, guilty as charged, I can’t let a good deal go, so I got myself an early Christmas present, well a few early Christmas presents and I wanted to share them with you!Processed with VSCO with t1 presetFirstly, I got the Soft Glam eyeshadow palette by Anastasia. I’ve seen a few people on Instagram using it and really wanted to find a palette with some rose and cranberry shades for the holiday season. I was between this one and the new Huda Beauty palette and ended up going with this one after watching some reviews on YouTube. I also own the Modern Renaissance palette by Anastasia and liked that this one had some more wearable everyday shades in my opinion! I tested it out this morning and really like the shadows, they blend well and have less fallout than I expected, the glitters are pretty and show up well, even without an eyeshadow primer or glue, I particularly loved the shade “Glistening.”

I did also rebuy my favorite foundation to have a backup for when I run out, I know, but it’s expensive and it never goes on sale! That foundation is the YSL All Hours Foundation, which I love. It’s a full coverage foundation, but it looks so natural and just like skin, I swear people tell me all the time when I wear this that I have beautiful skin, to which I happily reply, “No! I just have good makeup!” I wrote a full review of this foundation, which you can find here.Processed with VSCO with t1 presetThe thing I was most excited for was the new setting powder I ordered, which seems really boring, but I’ve been looking for a setting powder that works better for dry skin. Right now I mix RCMA translucent powder with a Too Faced setting powder and while it keeps my makeup in place, it takes all the luminosity and life and light out of my skin, and leaves me looking dry and cake-y, unless I go back with my beauty sponge and really work it into the skin. I decided to try the Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder and I love it! I think to call it a veil is very suiting because it doesn’t coverup my skin, but rather, acts as a sheer luminance, which looks very healthy and glow-y, even bridal. Processed with VSCO with t1 presetLastly, I picked up a new lipstick in my most favorite packaging. It’s Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Pillow Talk, which is a little more muted than what I normally wear, but is a really great staple your-lips-but-better type of lip color. It’s beautiful and creamy and looks natural and rosy. I always look for lip products with the slightest blue undertone, as they usually make teeth look whiter – which makes me smile more and this one definitely has that!Processed with VSCO with t1 presetAre you like me and literally can’t stop yourself when it comes to Sephora?! Also, I recently did a post with my everyday makeup routine, which you can find here, if you’re interested!Processed with VSCO with t1 preset
