Hi everyone! Just a super quick post to let you know that all of my Valentine’s Day dreams came true. Firstly, I have to admit that I did bake an entire batch of cupcakes just to have a prop for these pictures. But, don’t you just love how pink and glittery Valentine’s Day is, forget all the mushy sentimental stuff for a second, and just appreciate the fact that Valentine’s Day is the sparkliest, prettiest holiday, which I was so excited to take some pictures for! Secondly, I just have to share with you the most perfect Valentine’s Day cards that I got off Etsy, because, well, GOALS.

If you’re anything like me, you’ve watched a lot of The Great British Baking Show (TGBBS) and you’re equally obsessed with the British accents, the sweet treats, but you’re mostly there for Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry – I mean come on, they’re the cutest. So when I saw these cards I was SOLD – I found them on Etsy from the shop Grain and Dot and I ordered the 3 for $10 special to cover all my favorite Valentines. The Mary Berry one says “You’re just absolutely scrummy” and the Paul Hollywood one, “You’ve got real nice layers.”

For Darren, I opted for one that’s a little silly, as years ago we’d bicker about whether or not Valentine’s Day was actually important, and what we’ve seemingly settled on is the fact that we show each other love every single day, but the 14th at least deserves a card… Without further ado, the very apt, “This shit deserves a card,” card, which I plan to put in his gift box I’ll be revealing next week, one themed, “Let’s have a night in.”
