This weekend I met up with my friend Alex and her besties to celebrate her 29th birthday and while we had originally planned on doing a nighttime NYC dinner cruise, our plans changed and we ended up at a winery during the day instead, which meant the outfits we had so perfectly planned no longer suited the more dressed down occasion.
So, I thought I’d share what I decided to wear!
I know this time of year can feel a bit tricky – I so badly want to pack away all of my big sweaters and fill my closet with sundresses, but we’re not there quite yet.
I’ve been preemptively ordering some cute summer dresses, as Darren and I have a trip to San Diego planned for May, and I thought why not mix my two favs – a sundress and a sweater – which is exactly what I went for!
Now for the details – I’ve been loving & Other Stories lately and have been ordering SO many cute spring pieces, which is what inspired me to start a spring edit on the blog. I bought this cropped, mock neck sweater a few weeks back and then layered it over this a-line dress – I absolutely love this dress, it has a plunging neckline, and two slits in the front that make it move in the breeze. Not to mention this pattern – my favorite thing about & Other Stories is they make lots of styles in certain prints, you can buy this pattern in a variety of dresses, skirts, and blouses!
I also wore my Converse and this leather jacket.
I really loved this outfit and hope you did too! Stay tuned for more of my spring edit!
Looks cute, Stephanie. You have great taste in clothes and in furniture also it seems from your recent post. Take care of yourself during this pandemic time!! XoxoNanny
Awww thanks Nanny! You too – hope you’re doing well!
