THIS IS A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Nordstrom is currently doing 25% off EVERYTHING. I’ve been successfully practicing social distancing for 5 whole days – I hadn’t left my house in 5 whole days – I deserve this, you deserve this, we ALL deserve this. So, here are my picks from the Nordstrom sale!

First, I bought this Madewell shirt based on the recommendation of Lindsay Silberman – she’s my favorite blogger right now. I think this shirt is going to be such a great spring/summer staple and I love that it ties at the waist – I always want to recreate that iconic Meghan Markle look pre-engagement announcement – crisp white shirt, light wash denim, ballet flats, giant tote – but, I feel like the average crisp white shirt doesn’t suit me, so I hope this one is just different enough to make the cut!

I also snagged this TopShop denim jacket – I think I lost the denim jacket I bought last year, so I needed a new one – this is a staple for me, I’ll wear it with dresses, skirts, white jeans, I’ll wear it with anything except for denim jeans – I’m looking at you mom and Britney and Justin circa 2000 (my mom is FAMOUS for her Canadian tuxedos).

I also picked up two new bras: I hear this True & Co. one is beyond comfy and the other one I got to wear under that dress I posted about earlier this week with the plunging neckline.

I also picked up two makeup items that I’ve been eyeing (which I’m only realizing now were actually excluded from the sale). The first the infamous Chanel Tan de Chanel – I’ve had this in my cart for ages and so many bloggers say it’s an absolute must have. I’ve been loving cream products as I get older and I hope this gives me that summer glow!

I also grabbed a Bobbi Brown highlighter – my favorite highlighter of all time was a pinky limited edition Bobbi Brown and this looks so similar, so I’ll report back!

Also worth mentioning – if you’re a crazy person like me and are already thinking about Christmas – I’d highly recommend ordering a Barefoot Dreams blanket for you or someone you love – they’re my favorite, they’re basically just a big hug wrapped up in a blanket.
