Hi all! I know that I’ve already shared The Apartment Edit – Living and Dining Room and I have another edit scheduled: The Apartment Edit – Our Bedroom, but I wanted to share EVERYTHING we bought from West Elm in one place, especially since they’re currently doing a 20% off furniture and 25% off everything else sale – I also wanted to share a few things on my wish list, that I’ll be keeping my eye on throughout the holiday weekend, so keep reading for all the details!

What We Bought – Living Room

Before Darren and I moved-in, we went to the West Elm in New Jersey, at least two, maybe three times! We looked at the “big stuff” – our couch being the biggest of stuff, both monetarily and size-wise and I’m so pleased with what we decided on! This couch is probably the number one thing that I get DM’s about. It’s grey velvet and just an absolute dream. I had my heart set on blue velvet, but I’m so glad we went with something neutral!

Speaking of neutrals, the rug in our living room is also from West Elm, we got this on a great sale and I love the pattern. I think it really cozies up our space! We did the slate since it was ready-to-ship and ours is a 5×8.

We also got our coffee table from West Elm, which currently doubles as my work-from home setup, I love that this coffee table has storage and also pops-up to serve as my desk from 9-5. We did the Raw Mango in 36×26.

Lastly, Darren got me this shelf for a birthday present. I still haven’t figured out how to style it, but I’m so excited to see what I come up with!

What We Bought – Dining Room

It took Darren and I almost two months to settle on a dining room table. We moved in in December and didn’t eat at a proper table until February, but if anything, we’re thorough. What sold me on this table was the option to do benches. I just love the idea that we could theoretically seat like 8 people here. We did a bench on either side and a chair on each end, and I just love the idea that this table will seat Christmas dinners someday. The chairs are on SUCH a good price right now!

I LOVE this centerpiece. Also, if it looks familiar it was on the mantle at the spa in Sweet Magnolias!

What We Bought – Bedroom

We got our dresser at West Elm and I absolutely love it, even if Darren gets four drawers and I only get two – crazy I know! I love how warm toned this wood is and especially love the way it looks with a mirror on top (the mirror is Target!) This was definitely one of our “investment” pieces, we decided the splurge was worth it since we decided to buy one nice dresser and two ikea ones, one for inside each of our closets, we figured that what we spent on all three (high and low end) was about right for three mid-price dressers anyway.

We also decided to splurge a little on our nightstand, our bedroom isn’t quite big enough for two, and I fell in love with this one! I just love the marble top and think it would be a great background for flat lays someday.

We also just bought this desk – I’ll be working from home until at least September and I need a little more structure for my everyday. I also can’t wait to style these shelves with plants and prints. I looked at a lot of desks and think that this is a really great price for something so fun and functional!

A Few Random Accessories/Great Gifts!

We also bought these candle holders and these planters from West Elm – it might be too early for a Christmas gift guide, but I love the idea of these for a housewarming gift!

What’s Still on Our Wish List

I’ve been keeping an eye on West Elm’s sales for the past few months, as there are still a few things on my wishlist. I’ve been eyeing this mirror for AGES. I just love the arch and I’ve looked everywhere for something similar and just can’t find anything else that I love the way I love this one!

I’ve also been keeping tabs on this chair, I really like the idea of additional seating in the living room and can picture reading a book, or blogging from here.
